Units:12th Infantry Division-346th4th Armored Division - "Breakthrough." They landed on Utah Beach on D-Day and were killed near Cherbourg, France, over a month later.
He was buried at Ste.MereEglise Cemetery #2, Plot T, Road 9, Grave #168--20 miles southeast of Cherbourg, France. His body was returned to the US in 1948. Purple Heart recipient.
